That was me. I've got his prescription from the pharmacy and I offered to write him one to cover until I could get it to him. I shouldn't be surprised that he forgot to mention it to you.

Yeah. I'm less concerned about him trying to hoard drugs. I'm pretty sure there's nothing that's going to get him high in his prescription, but it's something I've never seen before. Got it originally off of a bloke named Tim Wright who was here before. He had the same condition as Brian.

Also, do you need any more pain meds? I've got... a lot right at the moment, and I'd rather spread them out. Managed to get hold of Sherlock's stash. There's Fentora, Vicodin, Morphine, and Ritalin.

Ah...Vicodin I've got. I'm a little concerned about how just who knows I've got Vicodin, actually.

I did see that exchange on your post. You know it's all right for you to use the medication, right? You're not abusing it, and it's something you need for your hands. You can't function as well when you're in constant pain.

Alfie probably won't go after you. I'd... offer to ask him to lay off of you, but we're a bit on the outs at the moment.

You might be right about Alfie. He's insisting he won't, but somehow I think it's probably a good idea for me not to be in the area for a while, whether for him or someone else.

I can understand wanting to get out of Alfie's way, though. I really do appreciate this, again. Sherlock's refusing to leave me, and while that's sweet, he's also a miserable bastard right now. We really need to get those violin strings.

[There's a little sigh, but Stephen doesn't respond any further to the point about the Vicodin. He sees the logic, and he's self aware enough to know that if it were one of his patients instead of himself he'd be saying the same thing. If the supply weren't low, he'd take it in a heartbeat.]
